Studied Economics, International Affairs and Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Graduated in Photography and Related Media at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and in Anthropology at New York University, where he also taught as an adjunct professor from 1997 to 1999. From 2004 to 2008 Horn worked as a producer and supervisor at Unicef. Since 2009 he has been Video Desk Manager at “The New York Times”, where he establishes production standards for video journalists, supervises stories, designs and implements workflows, oversees production infrastructure, player architecture, publication processes and metadata flows and trains video journalists, web producers and reporters on production and editorial issues. Besides, he is consultant (since 2007), producer and director (sind 2002) at WH Media, advising clients on integrated communication strategy as well as producing/directing documentary, industrial and news video.
