fjum_Kontext mit Mirjana Tomić

The electoral victory of Donald Trump and the success of the Brexit referendum caused surprise. Why didn`t media detect these tendencies? Were they on the spot? Did they listen to all the voters? Did they fail to understand the context?

The seminar series #fjum_Kontext provides knowledge and analyses that should prevent surprises. Its speakers listen to all segments of the society. Journalists, experts, opinion analysts and professors explain the local context and worldview.

Thanks to the carefully selected speakers, fjum_Kontext participants could avoid some common analytical mistakes (The Netherlands) and foresee electoral preferences (Germany and France).

In cooperation with the European Commission Representation in Austria, the series continues in 2018.

Mirjana Tomić develops and manages fjum_Kontext information sessions on current international affairs.
