Kursnummer: 11719

Blogs continue to be a force in the digital world. Podcasts are experiencing the biggest growth ever. If you an established or beginning journalist or writer, a communicator for NGOs, nonprofits, or start-up businesses, this three-morning „quick dive“ into the world of blogs and podcasts will give you the information–and inspiration–you need to start (or improve) your production.

Agenda

Morning #1
The enormous blogosphere. The crowded world of podcasts. What is already out there? Why jump in? Are blogs still relevant? Why do podcasts „podfade“? Defining your purpose and expectation.

Morning #2
Skills needed to create–and MAINTAIN– a blog or a podcast. Is collaboration the way to go? What you need to know about „monetizing.“ Creating a proposal for a blog or podcast

Morning #3
Discussion and critique of your ideas and proposals. How to move forward.
