  • Vorstellung des GEN-Summit 2017 am Medienstandort Wien durch Sigrid Oblak, Direktorin der Wien-Holding, und Peter Bale, Präsident des Global Editors Network.
  • Im Anschluss Diskussion mit Cécile Prieur, Digitalchefin von Le Monde, über die Rolle von Journalismus, gezielter Missinformation und Fake News bei den Wahlen in Frankreich.

Juni in Wien unter dem Motto „From Post-Truth To Virtual Reality: Navigating Media’s Future“ stattfinden. Das Global Editors Network ist eine Vereinigung von ChefredakteurInnen und MedieninnovatorInnen aus allen Kontinenten. Mehr als 700 internationale ChefredakteurInnen und MedienexpertInnen aus 80 Ländern werden in der Wiener Aula der Wissenschaften zusammenkommen.
