Anita Zielina is the Editor in Chief for digital products of the Swiss newspaper Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ). Before she was  Deputy Editor in Chief at the German weekly news magazine Stern. In 2012 Anita was selected the first Austrian journalist for the one-year Knight Journalism Fellowship at Stanford University, Palo Alto, California. She previously worked at derStandard.at and DER STANDARD, most recently as a Deputy Editor.

Annie Fox is Chartbeat’s Product Owner, Content which really just means she dreams up tools that make sure the internet is full of only the most quality content, a place everyone wants to hang out. Before joining Chartbeat she worked in publishing for twelve years, first as a writer, then editor, and finally as the programming Director at Hearst Digital Media.




Hansi Voigt is the founder, manager and Editor in Chief of Watson, the new news portal for a mobile Switzerland. He previously spent more than six years working as Editor in Chief of 20 Minuten Online, shaping the development of the portal from a small Internet presence to the largest news page in Switzerland. Since 2006, he has worked as a lecturer in media development and online journalism.

Raju Narisetti is Senior Vice President and Deputy Head of Strategy for News Corp, one of the biggest multinational news companies worldwide. He is primarily involved in new digital projects and helps guide the digital growth of the existing companies in News Corp as they seek further expand the distribution of their content across digital products and platforms. Previously, he has served as a Deputy Managing Editor of The Wall Street Journal and as Managing Editor of Washington Post Co.

Lisa Stadler is raising brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and cultivating leads and sales for the biggest Austrian online newspaper derStandard.at. She is teaching social media at the University of Applied Sciences in Vienna and Eisenstadt. She was working as a Social Media Manager for Red Bull MOBILE at the advertising agency Super-Fi and implemented the social media strategy at the newspaper KURIER. derstandard.at>>



Karsten Lohmeyer is the founder of the successful blog Lousy Pennies, Editor in Chief of Hagen und Pollmeier Corporate publishing, writer and social media expert. He is teaching at the University of Passau.

Jochen Wegner is Editor in Chief of zeit.de, the online version of the famous weekly newspaper Die Zeit. Before that he was Editor in Chief of Focus Online and member of the executive board of TOMORROW FOCUS AG. He is one of the most respected online journalists in Germany.




Klaus Weinmaier is the founder and CEO of “The Engagement Lab” and an innovation facilitator and media strategist in Hamburg and Vienna. He is a Stanford-approved Design Thinking coach. He is the co-founder of derStandard.at, Austria’s leading quality news platform, established in 1995.

Heidi Lackner is working for the Austrian public broadcast ORF, where she is in charge of the successful report weekly TV magazine called „Am Schauplatz“. She started her career as a print journalist working for Oberösterreichische Nachrichten, Vienna´s weekly newspaper Falter and the weekly magazine Format.

Susann Hoffmann is co-founder of the German online magazine EDITION F. Before she worked at Vertical Media, publishing house of Gründerszene and VentureVillage, setting up the communications department. She was a Strategy and PR Consultant for over 4 years at the internationally operating agency Scholz & Friends.

Nora-Vanessa Wohlert is co-founder of EDITION F. She was Managing Editor at Gründerszene, the leading online magazine for the startup scene in Germany, responsible for managing the editorial team and the content. She took a leading part in creating and implementing the magazine strategy and preparing the magazine relaunch as key contact person for the development team.

Zachary Alfred is a UK-based Engagement Producer for AJ+, where he manages the ‘overnight’ coverage on the channel’s social media feeds and mobile app, edits the daily Trends Report, and occasionally makes GIFs. He joined the AJ+ Engagement Team in July 2014, two months ahead of the organisation’s full launch. In 2013, he moved to Sweden, where he completed a master’s degree in Digital Media and Society at Uppsala University.




Daniel Höly is a journalist, entrepreneur, blogger and web designer. He is the founder and Editor in Chief of the online magazine JUICED and the print magazine SHIFT. In 2013 he successfully initiated a crowdfunding campaign which enabled the first issue of SHIFT, a magazine with debates and social topics for a young audience. In 2015 he repeated his crowdfunding success and gathered double the amount of 2013: 15,000 Euros helped him print 10,000 copies of the first issue, which is available in kiosks all over Germany and parts of Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg.





Leeor Engländer is speaker of the Editor in Chief of „Die Welt“ since 2011 and he writes every 14 days a column called „Schmonzes„. He studied Business Administration at the Humboldt University in Berlin and worked as a freelance journalist for „Bild am Sonntag„.
