Damjan Ožegović holds a degree in law and completed an internship at the National Assembly of Republika Srpska. Before joining Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he worked in the banking and non-governmental sectors. For the past nine years, he has worked at Transparency International in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a senior researcher and legal affairs associate.
His work encompasses research projects, legal affairs, organizational representation, and media relations. He focuses particularly on elections and political party financing, freedom of access to information, conflicts of interest, and the use of public resources.
He has participated in numerous conferences in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad on elections and political party financing. He regularly gives lectures to journalists, experts, young people, and university students. He also collaborates with OSCE and Council of Europe election observation missions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and leads Transparency International’s legal team during pre-election periods, documenting and reporting on the misuse of public resources and other irregularities.
