Dániel Mikecz is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Political Science at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Since 2015 he is Senior Research Fellow at the Budapest-based political think-tank, Republikon Institute.
His special area of research and theme of his doctoral thesis was about the Hungarian global justice movement. He received his PhD in 2017.
From 2010 onward he holds various courses at the Eötvös Loránd University on protest movements and political participation. He is publishing in academic journals and in political magazines, newspapers.
Mr Mikecz studied Political Science at the Freie Universitat (2006-2009) in Berlin and the Eötvös Lóránd University in Budapest (2001-2008)
