Martin Breum is a Danish journalist and author, and a renowned expert. Arctic affairs. He is a regular contributor for the media in Denmark, Greenland, the Faroe Islands, Norway, and ArcticToday.com in the US as well as the scientific publication Arctic Journal. He has travelled extensively in the Arctic, including the Russian Arctic, Svalbard, Greenland and in the Arctic Ocean / North Pole. Breum wrote five books on Arctic affairs and filmed several television documentaries.
He is a former television anchor with the Danish Broadcasting Corporation and a former Deputy Director of International Media Support assisting media in conflict zones and elsewhere.
