Dmitry started his work at the news division of Russkaya Planeta in 2014 and then worked in the information service of Slon (now Republic), where he specialized on economic news.
Since 2016, he has been a correspondent of Mediazona and has written on police violence, extremist and ultra-right organizations, and human rights violations at Russian prisons. He often works as a court reporter, for instance he covered the case of Russian Economy Minister Alexey Ulyukayev who was accused of taking bribes, as well as court proceedings against Alexey Navalny, his supporters and various mass protest participants.
