Ksenia started her work at Novaya Gazeta at the age of 14. After covering the Beslan tragedy she moved from social to financial journalism. For over ten years, she has worked as a financial report for Forbes, Sekret Firmy and Kommersant.
Lately, she has been writing long reads for Afisha, Esquire, Openspace, Colta, Meduza and a number of other outlets.
Her text about Chechen teenagers who want to know nothing about Chechnya became the most read in Colta’s history. There was a lot of interest in her investigations on internal procedures of the Russian Orthodox Church and on exploitation of inmates in the Russian penitentiary system.
Ksenia won the Redkollegia Award twice and received the Journalism as a Professional Award.
