Małgorzata Druciarek is the Head of Gender Equality Observatory, a monitoring body, created in 2012, as a special unit within the leading Polish think-tank, the Institute of Public Affairs. The Observatory analyzes, promotes and mainstreams gender equality issues in Polish public sphere. Druciarek has extensive experience in carrying out research, both qualitative and quantitative, and analysis on equal treatment of women and men in different areas of social life and evaluation of public policies. She is the author of numerous articles and reports on women’s political participation, reconciliation of work and family life, women’s participation in decision-making process, gender-based violence. Her field of expertise includes also labour market and social policy.
Małgorzata Druciarek holds an MA in sociology. She studied at the University of Granada (Spain) and the University of Warsaw.
